Default Asthetic Modifications

I think everyone agrees the grill on this car could be much better. I was in the process of looking for grills. I didn't like the mesh grill and $400 for the billet grill seems kind of high. I found a store on ebay that sells chrome "covers".

I have concerns because it is basically plastic that has been chromed and being affixed with an industrial adhesive. Has anyone tried these products? Would you recommend these products?

I really like the chrome grill, the chrome window frame pieces, and the chrome slotted vents for the side of the car. However, I don't want to waste my money on crap!

Has anyone else found some nice grills for the crossfire? I was thinking a powdercoated black mesh grill would look nice.

Quite a few members have those. They are good quality, but I wouldn't pay 200 bucks for plastic.

That is how I feel as well, but I don't see a whole lot of options.

There is a recent thread on the SRT forum where arhshelby painted his grill black on a SSB. It looks quite good.

I didn't like it on blue, but I would love to see it on a black car.

We also sell the chrome grille covers and have it installed on our car.

I'm not a fan of chrome, but really like the way it matches the Chrysler wings on the hood. It sticks with 3M double sided tape and takes about 15 mins to install.

If you're interested PM me. We've got one left in stock. I'll give it to you for a good price. Check out our pics on the Exterior forum.

Somebody has written a write-up and it's on the forum somewhere.
Regarding what TVT says - it matches the Chrysler wing.
Presumably you've noticed that the silver/gray on the grill is the same as the rest of the car - it also carries on the theme to the fin type pieces on the front wings (3 stripes on the grill, and 3 on the panel). I've seen an all black grill out there and it looks good from straight on (wasn't on a Crossfire), but it may not match in with the pieces on the front wing.
