Couple months ago I pulled into a curbed parking spot and when leaving the bumper tore apart. The curb had a two inch rebar sticking up and bent and ripped the right side bumper mount off. Body shops said it was not repairable and would have to replace the whole bumper cover for a mere $1600. Being stubborn, I bought a Plastic Weld Kit and decided to make repairs myself. Not a professional job but doesn't look bad and saved $1600. I'll have the two fenders, hood and bumper painted in the near future as they have some paint issues. I've already repaired it and is strong repair. Sharing some pics.
