61 - work in the energy production field for an independent power producer. Bought the car as my gift to me for my 60th birthday. Drive it everyday, and cannot tell you the number of comments that I get about how beautiful the car is. I love to drive it at the max speed in the desert here in Nevada. I have had it at 157 and it never shook, moaned or did anything but hug the road and run like the wind. My wife has driven it at 130 on the interstate in the early morning hours. The people who talk about the coupe being "shoddy" in it's performance probably have never driven the coupe to find out what they are missing. Roadsters have too much wind flapping noise at high speed, and you don't want to drive over the century mark with the top down.
I was looking in this month's issue on Mens Journal at the classic cars that they listed as being stylish. I owned a Corvette C1 - 1958, an Austin Healy 3000 1961, a 1963 Jaguar Roadster, and the MG'A'. They can't carry water to the Crossfire.

I assume that you work at Sheppard AFB? I was down in San Antonio last week and headed to Colorado Springs this week. Life in the AF is great and my family has enjoyed seeing the world (Kadena, Aviano x 2, Langley, Yokota and now Patrick). If I am ever in the area with my Crossfire I may have to look you up. Have you had any get togethers in the area? We have had a couple in the Orlando area and they have been a lot of fun. The greatest number of participants is 6 and it was awesome to see the looks from others drivers as all 6 of us drove through the city.

I'm a Network Systems Engineer for a contracting firm... currently administering about 30 servers for the 511 system in Oakland, CA.
"Network Systems Engineer" is a term used for a computer geek that knows network protocols and telecom...
I also dabble in machining, programming, electronics and try to be more serious about building hot rods... Click here to see... diary needs updating as we are sending off the body/chassis this week for powdercoat and paint... WHEEE!!!

Looks like you're doing a fantastic job at turning it into one slick street rod.
I nominate you as one of the team of people who should get together and build the first "HEMI" Crossfire.
If you can cram a small block chevy into a Minor, a hemi in a Crossfire should be a piece of cake.
Really enjoyed the photos, nice job.
