Red face What responds do you get??

I was just wondering what kinda funny responds do you get to your car.

I have had one girl call my car "the ghetto baby Bentley" (referring to the 300C). I had to set her straight and even had a couple of random people walking by back me up in that they are two completely different cars.

And today I went to Wendy's to get a snack. Ordered, paid, and when I came to the 2nd window to get my food, some young guy stuck his head out the window and started looking around in my car. I said, "Hey, can I help you?" Then he went on and on about how much he loved my car. Which I didn't mind at 1st, until he asked if he could drive it. I laughed and told him no. Then he asked me to do a burnout in the drive thru with another car behind me. I told him that he would have to buy me a tire before I would even consider doing something that stupid. Then I had to grab my food out the window which was just sitting there, and at this point had been there for a few seconds, and drove off.

Do ya'll (yes I use that word) get responds like this? I could be rich if I had a dime for every time a random person that I don't know asks to drive my car.

I love the kids that want to race me at a stoplight with their souped up rice burners... or someone that peels off next to me (after revving their engine to scare me?) thinking that I want to play tag... but yes, every now and then I get the "can I drive your car" and I give them the "you think I'm stupid look" and just keep moving...

Although this morning I had to put a low-end Mustang in its place... he just kept playing cat and mouse with me... and after about 15 minutes of this, I just had to out him in his place and well, I sure left him behind... (we really do go from 0-60 really fast! LOL) So when he caught up with me, two lights later, he just shrugged his shoulders, tossed his hands up in surrender and smiled. Guess I showed him, eh?

But I love the attention my car gets... I don't think I will tire of that!!!
Kind of makes me feel even more special then I think I already am!

Post Re: What responds do you get??

The response I like the best is, "What kind of car is that?"

Here are a few more I've gotten...

- Ya ride is SICK A** H***.
- That's super tight.
- How much did it cost (some actually think this car is some kind of supercar with a supercar price...I can't afford that (yet )!)
- Can I have a ride (my response to this is usually, "taxi out of service").
- One lady asked me if I wanted a mistress (I just laughed).
- Boy...I bet that's a _____ magnet.
- Sometimes I get the occasional kid pressed to the window of a passing car with a look of 'WOW' and pointing.

When I drove down from Ohio to FL...can't count the number of 'thumbs-up' I received.

All of the above are compliments IMO.

I've had the Kid pressed up against the window. (Had to stop and finish laughing before I drove off). I've been told I don't deserve a car like this (too young) that one pissed me off, and I also don't like the how much was it (it's none of your damn business). People like that seem to look it up on the internet and then tell everyone how much they are.

Yeah that's pretty much the same problem I experience too. A couple of my neighbors and a friend, have been giving me a wired stink eye vibe ever since I purchased my car.
Luckily I got an old beat up Buick, I trot out on weekends, this seems to bring everyone back to normal when they see me driving my geezer ride. It's just jealousy, kinda ridiculous. But hey people are human and I come to expect this stuff...

I had a neighbor ask if I was trying to show up the neighborhood. Honestly, I don't know if she was joking.

Parked outside an Applebee's waiting for the Carside TO Go service a very hot young woman walked right up to my window and said "are you waiting for me, honey?" I said actually I am waiting for my dinner, do you want to be dessert?

Ok, so I wasn't quite that quick with the wit, but what she said was word for word. I am sure that I mumbled some stupid words that could never impress a girl like that, but in my mind I was great.
