Next Monday on the TV show Prison Break there will be a Crossfire used as a getaway car.

it was previewed in the episode last night -- it was in the driveway of the woman's house they were digging up (and are now holding hostage) -- an aero blue coupe.

 

I may be way off base here, but it seems to me that using a Crossfire as a get-a-way car by a "bunch" of prisoners would make about as much sense as Starsky and Hutch using a bright red Ford with a gigantic white stripe on it as an "under cover" detectives car.

 

Now come on. If you were on the run and the car that was in the driveway was a Crossfire would you look for another car or take it.

 

In TV shows they take the crossfire, in real life they (if they are actually smart) take a 4 door sedan that's very plain.

 

If it was just me, and one other guy, I'd consider the XF. But isn't there about 5 or 6 prisoners on the loose in that show? (I really haven't been watching it, I've been to busy catching up on Different Strokes, and the Jefferson's reruns).
Anyway...with that many convicts trying to get in and out of an XF, it would look like a bunch of clowns in a circus, wouldn't it?

 

Oh and by the way, for those of you who are keeping score, I've now insulted People who live in low income housing, people who live in condos, black people, people who live in the hood, convicts, clowns, and let's not forget Starsky and Hutch.
