Traveling CrossfireForum Bears...
Re: Traveling CrossfireForum Bears...
Having their morning "Lattes" at IHop from waitress Flo, we headed out to Slay the Dragon. Cross cried until I got him a T-shirt souvenir from the PUNKIN (were have I heard that before) General store. Fire chatted up with a cute Marine on a Harley. We then arrived in Chattanooga and hit the town. The beer was cold and refreshing at Taco Mac on market street but when seeing their ages, I had to drink for them.
Tomorrow, they will take you on a tour of the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel, Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountian. It should be a full day for the young ones.

Got a slow start this morning cause Cross an Fire had to much fun playing on the trains at the Hotel.
Our first stop was at the famous Ruby Falls which is 150 ft water fall, 2200 ft under lookout Mountian. They turned out to be great spelunkers and enjoyed the catus stalagmite.
Then, from underground we took the encline railway straight up the mountian to Rock City. A private estate with natural rock formations, all sorts of trees and flowers, and a european fantisy trail.
Fire had to show off her new hat since she got nothing from the DRAGON.
After a rest and a snack, they were brave to stand at the railing to view 7 states from the top of Lookout Mountian.
They ended the afternoon in the shade sitting in a mountian custom rocking chair.
Oh, by the way, Mrs. Punkin has grown attached to the "kids" and will have a tough time saying goodby.

We took a trip up to Signal Mountian. Cross complained " How many mountians at in this place". We said no more majestic views, just cool stuff.
We had lunch at Lara Bushes favorite places. How do I know? We spoke with the owner and saw the pictures on the wall. The name was WAYCRAZY and the BBQ was fantastic.
Cross wanted to play on the real Chattanooga Choo-Choo and even though he did, we let them ride the mini choo-choo.
Last but not least is a statue of James Andrews. Rather than bore you with the story, look him up cause it's entertaining.
Tomorrow we leave early and head up north to Indiana.

Well, Mrs. Punkin and I were blessed with a couple of more days with Cross and Fire and were able to take them to Carlisle on Friday and have Dinner with the XFi crew that were able to make the show. As Valk stated, they will be on their way soon to Texas and the Adventure Continues.............................

Got you covered on the dirty martinis Stirling.. I keep telling Greg we should try to organize an informal drive in this area.. The 7 lakes parkway in NY is very pretty and has some interesting turns,, or a trip to Bear Mountain or West Point,,the town across the Hudson is very pretty with shops and outdoor cafes..it's an easy one day trip..There are even some routes posted for the Jersey shore area,, but considering we are in the height of beach season, we'd end up sitting in traffic. Dont forget to look into that realtor advertising I told you about.

Hello forum members !
Well I purchased my first SRT Coupe today. Being a former and current MG owner I have been a member of the MG Experience Forum, a great bunch of folks with good advice and great stories about their cars.
I hope in time to develop that relationship here.
Picking up the car in Ohio Saturday morning. Will post some pics of my return trip with the SRT.

Hi, I would love to take the two lovely bears for a spin in Finland. Show them the capital city, Helsinki, and also the country side. If they want to visit us in Finland during the summer or winter they are the most welcome.
To bad they want be here for this summer or I would have shown them, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Holland and Belgium. It would have been a good European road trip with them.
I am leaving in a month for this nice journey, but maybe next year.
