Gary please put me on the list for the Bears. They haven't seen enough of the Hill Country of Texas. Maybe take them to a grape stomp, or Luckenback?

Last year when I signed up for a week with the bears I had thought we'd probably see them by June or maybe July ...

A recount today shows the same thing .... June or July ... but, of next year
Sad to say, once they've got 'em, folks just aren't even remotely diligent about packing the bears up and sending them on to someone else ...

Very nice of you sir ... of couse, it's a moot point if the current host doesn't pass 'em along and the others whose turns are next hang onto them for weeks if not months at a time ...

IF they were to move along as originally intended from where they are today, I could theoretically see them by Christmas, but inasmuch as not a single transfer has gone as originally intended in the past year, it realistically won't happen before a year from now ... if that ...

It seems like such a simple concept ... get the bears, have a few days of fun taking their pictures, send them along to the next person on the list ... even if a week turned into 10 days, not a big deal .. but some weeks have turned into more than a month or even two ... I initially thought I might see them in 6 months ... currently, that's the best I can hope for ... but, at the rate they're going, a year seems more likely and more than that is well within the realm of possibility ...

I'm not going to make any plans for 'em until they arrive at my door ... and if by that time I'm so old that they have to take a ride in a wheel chair with me rather than a Crossfire, well at least I'll try to make it a thrilling wheel chair ride ...

I had a dog doll at one time, but then we got a real dog for my first birthday and the puppy ate it. These bears could meet the same fate, then we would get to see how some people bear the emotional strain.
Montanna's got some little terriers, this could get ugly.
What did I say?

They will be in Puerto Vallarta Mexico for the next 10 days.
I talked with Steve (Rokypoky) on Saturday just before he boarded a plane with them.
He said he will take pics and post once he returns home.

OK, here are some more "guy" related items that can be used instead of 'teddy bears'. You guys are so queer...... (not that there's anything wrong with that).

LOL....who'd have thought that a couple of stuffed bears could get under FP's skin like that. You keep coming back here FP.......do those fuzzy little bears bother you that much? Are you maybe dealing with some repressed issues from your childhood? Were you maybe sexually molested by a stuffed bear?
