Oh dear. I must be the last one in the list of well wishers but I don't want to miss the opportunity tho. I am not sure if you will still be reading this. Otherwise, when you come back then.
Paul,
We are glad that you share your this joy with us
Thank you for being even among the thousands that are there, you are one
May you be blessed with good health, strength physically and mentally
May you have faith in your heart and mind
Calm and peace in your soul
May you find fulfillment in your sincere mission
May God protect and not forget you not even for a single moment
Take care and come back to your love ones
And we will see a future warrior behind the wheel driving the crossfire on NOS
All the best
PS: You may not be able to access this forum there, but if there is network, perhaps you can email short short updates of your well being to one of the members and it can be published here for all of us to share.
I am sure someone can arrange that.

I'm so anoyed, my car battery died even though my wife was starting it often. It must be because of all the stereo junk in the trunk and the fact she didn't drive it. The battery is 1 1/2 years old so I guess I will test it first then maybe upgrade to a cool looking and better one.
Irag is going well, except for when its dusty with low visibility out, because all the crazies come out to play. Mostly because we can't see well through that mass.

Just be safe bro. I don't know if this is your 1st time but it will go quick. Just stay busy and read on your down time. I did my 13 months. My unit became my family. It was a love/hate relationship like a normal family. LOL!
This means a lot to me so I will pass it on to you, A fellow Soldier. I don't know if you've read it, but it hits home.
A Soldier's Story....
I was that which others didn't want to be,
I went where others feared to go and did what others feared to do.
I asked nothing from those who gave nothing, and reluctantly accepted the thought of eternal loneliness..Should I fail.
I Have seen the face of Terror:
Felt the stinging cold of Fear:
And enjoyed the sweet taste of Love.
I have Cried, Pained and Hoped...
But most of all, I have lived times others would say were best forgotten.
At least I am proud to say that I Am Proud of what I was..... A SOLDIER!
I read this on a wall when I first got to Camp Spearhead before heading up North. Who ever wrote this new what the Soldier feels. It really hit home with me and all my fellow troops. Just be safe Bro. From a fellow Soldier;
