Default $2.99 for gas/diesel

Yeap.
Chrysler is giving cards to purchasers of new cars (starting May 7th) which allows the customer to buy gas/diesel for $2.99 for 3 years. You are limited to the type of fuel used by the car purchased and up to 12,000 miles per year (based on sticker MPG)

Interesting promotion

really, isn't that odd?

here's an interesting fact I heard the otherday, In London England the cost for 1 gallong of diesle is about $8.00.
also heard that to drive your car in central london it costs about 25 pounds a day, and it was forcasted eventually to rise even higher.

scary!

The only thing that is rarely brough up when talking euro gas prices:
(from a recent article on gas prices)
Gas in the UK is $7.50 per gallon, of that $4.67 is for taxes. So it is not that the gas is so expensive, it it the gov't getting their share (and then some)

BTW Gas in Venezuela is $0.12/gal

Does not sound like a commodity....does it.
