that's where I got mine except it has a wooden handle. Really does a nice job on the backs of the wheels. I also use it in the wheel wells.

Bottle brushes are great, except I don't do wheels with then. They have bristles that can scratch or mark wheels with a soft coating, most have a spiral wound wire center that can scratch if if contacts wheel. I found these at Albertson's on sale for $0.99 and really like them. Bought 1/2 dozen 'cause they will have a shorter service life. Handle is plastic and no metal on brush. Sponge strips are glued on.
Just my preference.

I would agree with your points on the bottle type brushes, you have to be careful. I've not scratched a wheel yet. I tried the brush you mentioned and I don't like cleaning quality vs. the bristle brush. To each his own though if that works for you, the price is sure right.

Get a wooden paint stir stick and stick a couple of inches of lambskin or similar on the end. This does a good job of the large flat area, reaching 8" or so to the inside, it leaves a small `V' shape behind the spokes and that can be done with your fingers.
