I fear for the future of us all after seeing this video, which uses 4 cell phones to microwave popcorn curnels in under 10 seconds. I'm sure in another 20 years brain tumors will be skyrocketing.

just curious, but does anyone know the minimum amount of watts that have to go into a corn seed before it pops?

here's a little info I found on cell power, I guess the real damage occurs from an Ionizing radiation.. eithway, those kernals seemed to pop faster using cell phones than my houshold microwave system could pop them. pretty scary

i use my cell phone to cook my dinner when the power is out or when i am camping. if you dial long distance it makes your steak medium well, international calls makes it well done and of course local calls is rare.

george foreman is coming out with a cell phone powered grille next month, I will be first in line to pick one up! I am so excited!!

 

well our cells are only 1 watt output, I think my microwave is over 1000 watts and that takes atleast 1 minute before a kernal pops.

either way I still don't like 1 watt near my head for hours of use.

 

unless they have changed, handhelds are .6 watts.
