Placcement of Pioneer Nav unit and Brain and 5.1 system
I'm thinking of taking out my pioneer avh p7500dvd and avic 80dvd from my M3 and putting it in the crossfire. One concern is finding a place to install both the brain for the p7500dvd and the avic 80dvd unit which is the size of a regular 1 din unit.
Without tearing the car apart, and after reading some of the other posts here, it seems that there is some room under the passenger seat and under the passenger's foot area where the stock amp is. I can probably stash the avic unit under the passenger seat (does it have enough clearance?) and the brain where the stock amp use to be. Is there room under the drivers seat for the brain?
If I do go ahead with the swap, I'll try and set up a 5.1 system with the only concern there being the center channel. Has anyone set up a crossfire for 5.1?
Thanks,
Dave
