I'll miss the Hippie Dippie Weatherman ! Give'em HELL George !

 

George was absolutely my very favorite comic. Nobody had the wit that George had. Too many comics today rarely put as much thought into their routines as George did. Some today rely on antics only onstage to bring laughter.

On of my favorite George statements was when he was talking about whites wanting to act black, was about when whites pretend like they're really into the blues. He said " What could whites possibly be blue about, Banana Republic running out of khakies ?

Compared to today's comedians, Carlin was gentleman. Genuinely funny guy.

 

George was one quircky guy with the uncanny ability to make you think about what he was trying to convey.
Rest easy, old friend.

 

Truly a great one has been lost. In my eyes, the best comedian ever.

The bit about "legally drunk" was priceless.

He's the only comedian I ever paid to see, and I did so several times. What a great loss.

It's a damn shame he had to leave so soon, 71 is a bit young.

Between Carlin and Prior, these are the two greatest comedians to ever grace us with such thought provoking material. He'll be loved and missed forever.


Carlin always said, " 71 was just a 69, with two fingures stuck up you ****" ! lol

 

I'm going to sincerely miss the way he could disassemble the English language to point out the irrelevant, mundane & just plain stupid. There's never been quite anyone like him - he'll be a tough act to follow!
