Not a big surprise, after all, what did they think was going to happen when $5.00 p/gal. gas is on the horizon & your lessee is driving a giant, gas-sucking Detroit Chrome Mountain.
Our company used to own a fleet of Suburbans - got roughly 8 - 9 mpg w/the air conditioning on. A Lamborghini Diablo gets roughly the same mileage. The Suburbans ain't around no mo'!

 

Were they replaced with Lamborghinis?

 

Wait till gas hits $ 6.00 @ gallon next June!!!!

 

Don't believe the hype..........Gas will be at $3.00 a gallon by next June. It's an election year after all.

It's already dropped by $0.30/gal in the last month or so here in SoCal.

 

Well, while at our meet here, which was at a Chrysler dealer, I was able to set awhile and talk with the owner...he delivered that news to his staff this morning while I was present...business is way down, and he is going to cut staff as well, this they weren't told....so things aren't looking good for Chrysler..now for us who have a Chysler lease, they are now willing to negotiate price, which they have never done before...so if you want to buy out your lease, toward the end, start negotiations early, and you will get a great deal...the sales staff there have taken advantage of this already, saving as much a 3k...bad for Chrysler, good for the consumer....
