I thought shotgun barrels had to be a certain length. Cant this one get you in some legal troubles. Or does it simply become a "handgun" under the eyes of law enforcement?

You can get a special tax stamp if you pay extra ($200 or so) and you can do a SBR (short barrel rifle) modification to certain weapons. But technically your right. I think barrel lenth has to be 16".

I believe 36 inches is the length to have a rifle or shotgun in Michigan.

I do know that I can go to the corner gun shop and buy a Uzi with a handgun license though. My SAR is licensed as a handgun due to the lack of a buttstock.

Man Ap, we need to go shootin' sometime....drag all mine out of the safe and do some serious damage...did you polish the recievers on the AK's yourself? Haven't seen that done except from really worn ones...I have AK's AR's Savage 110's bull barrelled, but my favorite is a Daiwoo, cross between the AR and AK...Korean issue...and several others, like my old SKS Russian I use for military shoots...no scope dead on shoulder shooter....

Ya doc......I do pretty much all my own work on my guns.

The one exception was having the Romy "G" barrel re-chromed. That had to be sent out.

I like the polished look, really makes them stand out at the range. It just takes a LOT of time with a dremel and some polishing rouge.

I'm actually getting ready to go to the range right now....Saturday afternoon is the only time they allow the military spec rifles to be "rapid-fired". Any other time it's the ol' 1 shot in the magazine at a time.

Now.....as far as those drug bust pictures go, 2 things come to mind...

1. That silencer is huge, but I laugh at the handgun right below it. What is that, maybe a 9mm? What I want to know is......how the hell do they hold it with that extra mag taped to the handle?

2. Not to say anything bad about the officials that seized that giant stash of money, but temptation is a bit*h.......I'm curious if ALL the seized money made it there or if a little got "lost", much like Iamfink2 already suggested?

glad to see I'm not the only crazy one that believes in fast cars and guns. Building a ruger 10/22 with a tactical solutions threaded barrel and a A.A.C Silencer this month so we can go squirrel hunting...poor little squirrels will never hear it coming. Gotta love living in KY

that's definitely a lotta moola in that picture too.

Just made a new acquisition this afternoon............figured I'd post it up just so I could make Oledoc jealous!

Genuine AKMS (pre-ban) built in Udmurt Republic, Russia at the Izhmash factory. This is my first full-auto sidefolder. I can't wait for "military-action" night on wednesday at the range!

Ya know..........I gotta protect that Challenger from that RPM guy......he's kind of a shady character!

Holy &$^#! I assure you, your SRT8 is safe.
BTW, a buddy of mine just took delivery of his black '09 6 speed SRT8 Challenger. At least he let me see his in person - .
