This is a picture of a parking spot here in Orange County. I got a ticket for expired meter. Notice my spot has two meters. I am fighting this and will be sending this pic in along with a drawing. Do you think ticket will me dismissed? FYI, it's a $47 ticket.

The walkway between the cars seems fairly wide. Where are the meters positioned in that walkway? Are they closer to one side - ie the meter for the SUV was closer to the edge of walkway near the SUV or closer to your car? How about the other meters? Or are they all dual sided meters as you described?

The active one for that space SHOULD be the one closest to the driver. If the one that you put $$$ in is not for your spo it is for what?? the spot to the left (as shown) that the meter is no where near, let alone touching.

Dismissed -court costs $35 +/-

Mike, I'am guessing on the location position on the island, but I would say they were centered. I would guesstimate this island at 5' wide, with the meters located in the middle. The meter way off to the left was for the motorcycle parking spot, the meter directly in front of the drivers side of my car was two sided, meaning that meter served my spot and the spot where the Ford SUV is at, and the meter on the right side of my spot had four coin slots that served four parking spots, mine, the spot to the right of mine, and two spots on the other side of the island..... I think . Pretty sure....I'am sure..... I think. My wife states she remembers that the meter on the far right had four coin slots. May have to drive back down there and look again, maybe more pictures. I have to get this in the mail to the court house by the end of the week. Have to go to PA for two weeks, leaving next Monday on business.

It looks to me as if that is "Rock Star" parking, and you should have coined both of them for the privilege of using it!

Just kiddin'-dismissed.
