The Snow Thread
Well today we hit a high of -7 below zero.
Our snow total is somewhere around a foot accumulatively.
Here are a couple pics behind my house taken this morning.......

Nice pics Gary. That must be what it looks like from at least MN thru IL. Same temps, if you hadn't said it was in your backyard I would have sworn it was MN. Our high was about that today too, but good news is a big warm-up is on the way. Hang in there. About 25 below tonight. Mark
Okay - what's all this talk about snow? You don't know snow until you've lived a few winters in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Last year we had 500" between November 1 and April 15, the ski season. Yes - REALLY!
So far this year we have had 198" since November 1 - of course, you must consider that this is a dry year.
Yep - both the Crossfire and the DeLorean are in storage. The Grand Cherokee and the VW Type 3 will get me through the winter.

We had the week from hell. After hitting about 80 degrees on Saturday, we had an ice storm that put down 1-2 inches of ice early Tuesday morning. This pretty much sht down Dallas. Then we woke up Friday morning to six inches of new snow on top of the ice. We never got above freezing until yesterday. I had to drive everyday and really like how my car handled the ice and snow. Driving on the ice is a real art. The stability control really got a work out and performed great.

Bob, you seriously need to get a different daily driver even if it's a beater. Why take the chance of some nut job totaling your V8 Crossy on the icy streets?
