actually that was my original HEART THROB..... The CTS V is coming out this model year with 600 + hp....they've turbo'ed it.........lightened the car.... Suppose to come with SuperCharged V8 Blue Devil Corvette engine. Speed plus all the bells and whistles.

The XLR was my dream.... then test drove the XF. for the price of the XF....it was in the drive way within two hours....but I've always wanted the XLR. This year the CTS V is coming out. I'll keep my XF............too much in love with the car...just as the wife.. But if I had 100k to spend.... CTS-V would be the car parked next to the Crossfire.

um for some reason i would buy a '09 MB C63 AMG Black Series. I am in love with that car, and cannot get over it. It is very fast, but very functional as a daily driver. Perfect.

I realize the thing can perform, but I wouldn't spend 80,000 on a GT-R that looks like the next version of a Mitsubishi Eclipse. I'll take a gently used Aston Martin DB9 with my gift card please.

I'd have my 65 T-Bird restored from the ground up. Upgrade to the 427cid and wire wheels !
Luv that car but with family, kids and a mortgage hard to justify the expenditure.

Just my Dos Centavos

I'd get an Audi R8. Pay off 100k with the 'gift card', then finance the remaining 10-12k and have a car payment equal to most Honda's. LOL!

That's a great HDR photo of a white GT-R. Who did the HDR for you?

...or did you do it?

Photography is so much fun... I'm planning on getting a new DSLR soon...

That...and an auto rig... which could possibly be the best invention ever, in cooperation with photoshop of course. It can produce pictures like these:

And that would be my 100k investment also...
either that or a ZR1

some more fun pictures:

I wouldn't have much choice. My wife would tell me you are getting a Viper.

I'd guess there are not many old MoPar men on this fourm, like me. I'd have to have a list that looks something like this:

1) 1969 Road Runner Coupe Hemi 4 -speed
2) 1969 Road Runner Coupe 440- 6bbl 4 -speed (Had one, sold it)
3) 1969 GTX Hemi Convertible 4 speed
4) 1969 GTX Convertible 4 speed
5) 1970 Hemi Cuda 4 speed
6) 1970 Hemi Cuda Convertible 4 speed (if you can find one for $100,000)

I could go on. I stopped, I was salivating all over my keyboard.

must admit I'm not sure I could just have one car for 100k

if just the one then a suspect a Merc AMG SL55 would be hard to beat, otherwise (all used):

Plymouth Prowler (plum crazy)
2006 Rousch Mustang (blue)
2004 Ford Lightning (blue)
2001 Corvette (yellow)
2005 Crossfire (with an LS6 )

Real simple...... a 1958 Plymouth Fury done up exactly as the one in the movie "Christine". The only change I'd have done is dropping in a 413 V8 with the longhorn cross-ram setup.

I've been in love with this car since 1983!

I was at the Barrett-Jackson auction in West Palm Beach back in April and found most of the cars to be rather disappointing. Until this gorgeous, beautifully restored 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MK III crossed the block at $100k. Kurt Tanner, a specialist restorer of big Healeys, did the work and finished it beautifully in California Sage Green with linen colored leather interior. Stunning in every detail, and I was instantly smitten. Then again, I've a warm spot in my heart for older Euro sports cars.

^^^What a neat ride!!! Speaking of British cars, I've always loved the '64 Ginetta... I think it's a G4? Sleek body and smaller than a miata LOL
