Under some distributions of LINUX, "sudo" before a command demands "root" privileges. There are some things only root can do, for security purposes. Without using sudo, you are merely a user.

Sorry, guess I should have explained the sudo thing. For some reason I thought everyone would know, and be a nerd like me. Oh well, guess not.
If there is something you don't understand with the comics..it probably has something to do with a Linux OS or writing code. These guys writing this stuff are even bigger nerds than I am...
