Ok, so I enjoy reading stupid webcomics that take 30 seconds to read, but are hilarious. I feel as though I should share with you. Keep in mind, I find these funny, and some of you may not...but I hope you do.

You are welcome Kurt. Always good to break the monotony of the workday...Especially when people like you and me have to work New Years Eve. However, I do not complain, I could be out of a job. So I work whole heartedly for most of the day and spend the other small chunk of time here... Its a nice compromise.

Depends on what kind of UI it’s wrapped up in. Mac OSX is UNIX, and very nice it is too. I only have to use the terminal on very rare occasions.

I agree that using a computer by typing in commands on a command line is a very, very old way of working.

Yup, or mostly.
I do have some experience with Solaris back in the days when I was servicing Sun equipment.
This isn't the thread to get into a long dissertation on op. systems BUT I hate CLI's &, for the most part, that's the Unix world .

 

I still don't understand it & I KNOW what the video is about.
