Default Which Magazine?

I have to order a magazine to fulfill my niece's Girl Scout thingy. Which is the best? I like technical reviews and few ads.
And you know what type of cars I like!
  1. Automobile
  2. Car and Driver
  3. Hot Rod
  4. Motor Trend
  5. Road & Track
Hurry it up, my wife has to send it back in a couple of days.

Thanks guys!!!

I voted Automobile. I have subscriptions to all of them (I'm letting Motor Trend lapse, though) and Automobile is the one I really get exicted about when a new issue arrives.

Well written articles, far less interest in just plain old numbers and more in the actual driving of the car. I get soooo tired of letters to editors of other magazines where a reader is personally offended that the car with lower "numbers" was given the nod over another with better "numbers". Far too often these people actually say the other car was "clearly the better car since the numbers were better". Automobile seems to do a great job conveying what the drive is like, not whether one car is a tenth quicker in the 1/4 mile, 0.02mph faster in the slalom or stops a foot quicker. Numbers are NOT what makes a car great or enjoyable, how it feels when you're putting it through the motions is.

Another vote for Automobile.
I get so many mags every month and can't read them all.
When Automobile arrives I read it the same day and pass it on to my neighbor (an import car guy). He likes it also.

Thanks everyone who gave their opinions and votes. I went to a news stand , looked over a couple and decided on Automobile.

Thanks again, and the Girl Scouts thank you too!

Little late, but another vote for Automobile.

I used to get R&T and Motor Trend.......dropped 'em both when they started showing up with the same exact articles and tests every month. Far as I can tell, they are the same magazine with a different cover and masthead.
