The Crossfire is such a beautifully styled car I find anything that pulls the eye away from the original lines a distraction and just clutter personally.

 

Have to agree with you on this one! Wheels or small stuff okay.. anything that distracts from the cars overall lines.. no thanks..

 

Has anyone seen this car up close. Is the gray and red painted on the car or is it easily removed. Thanks

 

I did notice the top was never in any of the pictures DOWN. So, coincidence?

A few weeks ago I was going to take a look at it, but the website it was listed on said it was sold. But it appears to be back on the market at a lower price than before. It has been on the market for a while. I think it will be hard to sell, kind'a over done!

 

Looks like they took off the silver and red. The carbon fiber dash kit I honestly don't like. More over done. What I find weird there's no pictures under hood. If you check it out please let know. I'm in the market for another one.

 

I'm about to make a deal on another one also. That one is not my "cup of tea"!

Must have been owned by a circus clown.

 

Just saw it again, same dealer, same miles, same $, same SRT, no more red paint or was it decals, except red still on the wheels. Also it now has pictures with the top down, but still no pictures under the hood. Looks much more presentable. It lost the "Clown Car Image". cars.com click on the old clown car image & find all new pictures.

 

Are you located by it. Have you seen in person.

 

No, I have not seen it in person, I was going to call the dealer a couple of weeks ago, but the web site I saw it on said it was sold, so I kept looking for another. It is located about 30 miles from where I'm now. I might be able to look at it but I am very new to the crossfire community, I'm getting my first XF tomorrow. So if there is another XF owner in the Metro Detroit area that could look at it for you, they might be a better choice.

 

The saleman sent me a picture of the motor. It's completely stock. One would think there would be mods from the racing strips put on it. I can tell there's a different exhaust on it maybe just tips

 

Did the salesman disclose any information about the SRT's new mostly original look?

 

No he didn't. Him and I emailed back and forward. I have not spoke to him.

 

I assume from your previous comments that you are not near the Detroit area. So where are you located? I plan on picking up my SRT Roadster from the dealer today, but they are still waiting for the title to be returned from the state, so it may be tomorrow. If you have not located a more knowledgable XF owner to scope out the SRT in Highland MI, I could arrange to visit and give you my prespective. Let me know.
