I grew up a Braves Fan....14 years old in ‘58 where Spahn and Whitey Ford were kings. Along with Morgan, who I hated.because he was a King too
When Morgan retired he became an analyst where he did his magic explaining the game within the game. I loved that Man. I loved that game.
its different now.

reading: "It is with unimaginable sadness that we announce the passing of Jetman Pilot, Vincent (Vince) Reffet, who died this morning, 17 November during training in Dubai.
We have seen plenty of Reffet's exploits over his last five years as a Jetman pilot. These carbon-winged devices offer what's probably the purest experience of human flight that current technology allows. Their four beefy jet turbines enable pilots to rocket through the air at speeds up to and over 250 mph (400 km/h), banking and soaring like jet-powered birds in flight.

Re: Celebrity Deaths
I lived in W. VA for seven years and had the opportunity to meet Yeager...what a hero. He also flew UNDER the Kanawha River bridge in Charleston, WV in 1948 at 500 miles an hour. And believe me, it is W.V. and not a large, high bridge at all. Incredible!!! Here are some details. https://www.register-herald.com/news...1ab40f6de.html

The consummate definition of 'The Right Stuff' ( https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/ch...cid=uxbndlbing )!
