What music are you listening to?
Got a 2 CD set of Les Miserables for my birthday a few weeks ago and have played that several times in my commute to and from work. But, often listen to the oldies station.
Listen to a variety when driving....
Fairly eclectic from Country, Rock, Funk, Jazz (new/smooth), etc,. but my favorites are from Creed, Joe Satriani, Roy Buchanan, Laid Back, Grand Master Flash, Steely Dan, even some Andre Bocelli.
For those of you who don't know him Roy Buchanan - just one example of his guitar playing ability

The missus has some Peter Gabriel playing in her Coupe.
The rocketmobile has a homemade CD that starts off with the Stones 'Sing This All Together' & ends with U2 - Elevation. In between lies some STV (Crossfire, of course), Henley, Who, Metallica, Genesis, Rush (also, of course. Simply THE best 3 man rock band.), JPriest, Zeppelin (Dazed & Confused), Deep Purple.
After all, I need driving music
!
Edit - STV, what the......
I meant THE man, SRV, ay caramba!!

Believe it or not, Winamp is playing some B.J. Thomas. I grew up on this stuff. Most of the time I listen to New Order, Joy Division, The Orb, Pet Shop Boys, and other '80s off the wall stuff.

Well, I asked what you are listening to NOW.
To join in the CURRENT discussion:
I carry the following in the car:
Kelly Clarkson's first CD
Taylor Swift's first CD
Jackson Browne's "Best of"
Ronnie Milsap's "Best of"
I listen to AOL Radio's "Super 70's" and "Best of 1988" when at home and have every Jethro Tull LP from 1968 up to "Bursting out". Often listen to "Thick as a Brick" and "Stormwatch" and 'HEavy Horses" and "Benefit" and "This Was"...
Other interests: Avil Lavinge's early stuff, ANYTHING by Natalie Imbruliga, Debbie Gibson and Sugarland.
(YEa, new sounds, country, 80's, 70's rock, the whole spectrum ... )

I switched to the following for this week's commute:
Supertramp "Breakfast in America"
Basia "Time and Tide"
Patricia Kaas "Tour de Charme"
Yamashita Tatsuro "Cozy"
Assorted mp3s on SD card:
Lisa Ono, Astrud Gilberto, Babalu, German Bense, mostly bossanova
I've also been listening to the Mercedes Benz Mixed Tapes collections which lend lots of variety.

I have had the drum part of Bleed by Meshuggah going through my head for about a month. I'm listening to Frank Zappa- Peaches in Regalia right now though. I was suprised yesterday when I heard it playing in the kitchen of the Dogfishhead Brewpub
. Are you a big Zappa fan Max?

That's just sooooooo wrong
Simple, drive with your knees, type away with your thumb on any web-capable handheld while using your left foot to keep the beat.
That leaves one hand completely free!
That means you can chomp away at a hamburger, too!
See? Easy!
