Our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms against a tyrannical government also comes in handy in the event of burglars and intruders. Good for Mrs. Jackson.

In most other countries, it would be her that would be dead. In fact in some states and and certain American cities, it would be extremely difficult if not illegal for Mrs. Jackson to possess a firearm. The reason being. - .in the minds of some liberals. -. is that the government holds the obligation to keep us safe. And when seconds count, the cops are only minutes away.

Invariably, events like this and the recent tragedy at Fort Hood will always give rise to the familiar debate. Do the citizens have the right to keep and bear arms?

Here's a good explanation why they do:..... http://www.jpfo.org/media-vid/2a-full.wmv

Castle laws are state laws. Your rights to defend yourself with any lethal method are defined by each state.

The second amendment does not give us the right to defend ourselves from crooks in our homes. It gives us the right to defend ourselves from the crooks in Washington.

It is the right of revolution. Don't ever let the Federal government take it away.

In an unrelated story, but as much fun to tell you about as the first one...

NYC police: Officer kills Times Square scammer - Yahoo! News

Guy aims a 30 round automatic weapon at cop, gets off two shots and the gun jams.

(The officer's gun performed considerably better.)

I wonder if the scammer was trying to shoot his gun gangster style.

911 dispatcher: "Do you have a place that you can go inside your house, and lock yourself in a room?"

lady: "I've got a big shotgun, I'm not going into a tiny bathroom."

Anyone still for gun control?

Notice it was over 20 minutes before she heard the police car. Guess he picked the wrong house. This should be on the "national" news instead of "Tiger-beat"
