Winter Storage? Here is a charger
For winter storage, I would suggest that charger be put on a timer that will turn it on less than full time. Maybe run it for and hour or half hour each day?
I just ordered 3 more and no shipping. DOnt need a timer as it is a float type charger, there is s write up on the first listing that is good.
Thanks Woody

I have a sweet solar charger that plugs in the cig lighter plug and the solar panel suction cups on the windshield, it puts out a nice bit of power too. it is a VW brand, VW uses them in all the new cars when they ship them overseas and i picked up one on ebay for $7 shipped a few years ago.

I ordered one as well
I already have one for my Motorcycle but an extra will be useful for the lawn tractor and the Crossfire for those down times when it snows outside.
Glad to see some are finding these useful.
(solar one would not do me any good for indoor winter storage - but a good idea if you are outside uncovered-the horror)

Mine showed (3) and they are very nice chargers.
Each comes with 3 interchangable pluggable ends - clamp type, cig lighter adapter, and direct wire, all with nice little caps to cover the connections when not in use.
Happy storage....

For those of you using this product, do you disconnect it once the red charging light goes off (as the instructions advise), or just leave it on?
