Verizon also is getting hit with a 40% reduction in equivalent headcount.
The media is going ape-crap, saying it's 10,000 layoffs, but that's not true. It's a reduction of 40% in the total amount of money being paid at an equivalent head-count rate. Probably about an order of magnitude less.
