Diets don't work all that well for some.
A friend suggested I try the Seafood diet once. She thought it worked well for her.

Made sense, as I didn't care much for seafood. Ended up binging on Cheeseburgers half the time. That's when she explained it was the SEEfood diet. To eat any and everything you see.

So I decided to SEE cheeseburgers and found that much easier to accomplish. Never once binged on seafood.

Actually diets are a small part of the picture. Excercise is much more effective but that requires self motivation. I think I missed that gene during fetal construction.

So, I go to biker bars for a beer and a cheese burger.
There one can get a good workout with almost no effort. Say something about a guy's girlfriend or his momma and they will toss you around for a while. Insult his bike and you can really get a workout.

For the most strenuous workout just insult the way he double clutches his shifts and the weight can really come off. Along with body parts.

All for a lot less than a gym membership.

The side benefit is that it helps with the diet part. It is really hard to eat a cheese burger and fries with a handful of your teeth tucked into your pocket.

Most of the high calorie fatty foods, like a Sirloin or Baby backed ribs, won't be appealling until the swellin' goes down.

After a while, going to the same bar, you won't even have to buy a burger. The patrons will do it for free.

well wrestling the young man just back from serving in Iraq back in Nov '08 has taken its toll on the old man. I always tried to stay in fairly good shape for my age, but this abductor tendon tear has taken me way down. So this old 57 yr old, now is back in the gym starting all over again...the second time around is a lot, and I mean a lot harder. So those that are in a routine now, stay with it into your later years, even if it a lighter workout. I did this until my injury. I walked away and gained 40 lbs. Lost all the muscle in my abdomin area, which is all core area...it will take at least 6 months just get back to where I was...but we are going to stay in the gym this time...I always said I would stay within my weight/ to height ratio...but injury will take you out of it, as well as no exercise in your later years...so, you old guys take note...lol...
