Default Leaving for Mexico!

Woot! I'm leaving Friday morning and wont be back until the 26th. Suh-weet!
It's a Carnival Cruise, this is my first spring break going somewhere, kind of excited.
We are leaving from New Orleans and going to Cozumel and the Yucatan Peninsula.
Anyone ever been?

Cozumel is nice, the prettiest water I've ever seen. Playa de Carmen ( I think that is spell right) right across the water is better. The ferry boats go from cozumet to Playa all day, tough to make it on the time a cruise ship allows though. My wife and I went last Aug. also on a Carnival. It left from Mobile.

No bullets in Cozumel, in fact the dont even let you take a spear gun on a dive .
The best deep dive is @ Punta Sur "the Throat of the Devil" enter the cave system @ 60 ft and come out onto the wall @120 ft

Have fun on the cruise. The Yucatan is a nice destination and you should enjoy it.

If you decide to travel again send me an email. I don't want to spam the forum with the company I work for but we have the lowest prices guaranteed and I will hook up any forum members.

Me too. I'm in San Luis Potisi on business, and a lil pleasure.

Cool Re: Leaving for Mexico!

No cheap Southwest / Northwest / Continental Flights to NOLA?

Glad to hear you had a great time.

Did you all visit "XCARET" while you were down?

We drove because we didn't want to have to worry about taking things on an airplane, like shampoo and stuff. We also caravanned with two other cars.

No "XCARET" ?
