Franc: So very sorry to hear of your accident, but hope that you'll be better soon. Please take the time to allow yourself to heal. Please allow other people to love you and help you during your recovery. Also, make sure your leg is splinted in flexion so you can at least get in the Crossfire and press the throttle (just kidding.)
Miss you and Crumpy.

Jane, Stubborn me, I decided to"drive" my Crossie home last night. I mean why not? The weight of my foot could push the throttle and the left clutch leg was fine. Once on the highway I could use the cruise control wand for adjusting my speed.
Perfect plan that completely forgot I might have to use my BRAKES!
That and folding my leg to get in and out of the car pretty much convinced me to be a wus for a few days.
This morning the formerly macho roadster with a stick let his wife drive him to work in the minivan.

Franc, hopefully you're laughin' right now and getting better by the minute! Take care.

Hi,
This sounds like a incident to review for the monthly Safety Meeting here at work. Sometimes we let employees share their experiences, ie, missing fingers and explain how it happened to them. These guys are out resident "experts".
Well, I do hope you recover quickly. Best Wishes!

The correct therapy is a must now and not later.
If you feel up to it maybe you could repeat it with a video this time, but please skip the freckles.

This "milking it" plan could be a bad thing.

I designed new ground fault circuits for all the package lines. We will be installing and testing them next week. That could be interesting.
My medical practitioner has found nothing which would require more than time, heat and cold therapy's and some pain killers.
For a second opinion, I had a cat scan last nite and the lab reports no issues.
Actually my cat just sat on my lap and the neighbor's twin Chocolate Labradors were all over me when I came home.
Thanks again for all the concerns.
