Under attack of pine pollen
We are in the throes of a pine pollen attack here in middle Georgia. My baby is in the garage under a car cover, but here is a couple pics of my Odyssey. This is pollen accumulation of just one day.

Howard, be glad you are not here. I am having the worst headaches ever from this. It has my sinuses all jacked up. Itchy watery eyes, swollen sinuses, and migraine like headaches. It sucks. We really need a heavy rain to knock this stuff out.

Not to mention the maples are budding which means small red fuzzballs that stick to everything & leave nice reddish stains on anything they glue themselves onto.
My father has 100 acre's of pine ready for select cut timber in White Store Township,N.C.. This time of year you can actually see the continual falling yellow pollen in the sun light. The only thing breathing there is lots of deer. Squirrel Crusher
My whole sub-division was a pine tree farm at one point. I have just a little over an acre lot, and more than half of the lot is thick pine trees. I went out and rinsed the pollen off the boat and car last night, and this morning they were completely covered again. It really sucks..... We have 80 degree weather now, and I can't take the cover off the X and get her out.
Had my car out yesterday, Hope and I went 130 miles round trip to work on my house. The dash is light green now....
The pickup has been out for several days, it's filthy with pollen, going to wash it off and probably wash the car after dinner tongiht - which should be served in abotu 10 mins.

I think I may call the local fire station tomorrow and see if they would mind me doing a "controlled burn" and burning down every single tree within 10 miles.

Jus t a few observations:
Pollen is very heavy this year.
I made a mistake in washing/claying/waxing 3 cars in last 10 days.
Rinsing/washing it off is an exercise in futility. Just a waste of water.
If you cherish it: don't drive it. Cover it. Leave windows closed.
I'm at work and going home now. My head and chest feel like "Bitin' Mike's" sparring partner.
Adios.

Hey I drove through that yellow garbage floating in the air in Georgia on Saturday, It looked like it was a sand storm or something. My head was a mess!
I got sick of washing my car so I got a car cover, much easier now. I like my cover from empire covers, its light weight and the pollen blows off the cover.
