I have envied the Crossfire since it first came out and this weekend I finally purchased my first! Now the question I have is did I get a good deal! Frankly I am happy and that is all that matters but the curious part of me would like some feedback on the price I paid. I paid 17,600 for a black 2006 Roadster Limited with 16,000 miles. The car is immaculate and I can't stop going into garage and looking at it (when not driving it!).

Welcome to the forum. Black is the fastest color. As far as price goes..... The roadsters bring a bit more than the coupes. With patience you could have probably found one a couple of grand cheaper, but you are not out of reason with what you paid IMO. The main thing is that you found the right car for you, and that is priceless.

 

With only 16K on the clock, it is practically new. The main thing is that you like the car, it doesn't matter what you paid. Welcome to the "WIWWM - ICSSATC"* affliction.

Congratulations on your new ride , but in all seriousness don't be fooled by the false Info that BLK is the fastest , and WELCOME TO THE FORUM And just try to get that grin off your face when you drive it.

 

Last summer I picked up my 2005 with 13,351 miles on it for $17,645. SOunds like we landed similar deals, and since the original owner paid $36,000 for this car (that stickered for $41,608) I'd say we did just fine.

 

Come on Howard...... Just because you have the slowest color does not give you the right to hate on the fastest color. I do understand how the envy factor does cause you to be in a state of denial though. I will let you in on a little known secret as to why the black ones are faster though..... We have to keep so much darn wax on ours to keep them looking good that they have less coefficient drag than other colors that require less maintenance. LOL
