Reality check !
I usally can't help but feel pretty special riding around in my Crossfire with my lovely wife at my side. I guess you could say good for the ego of a "middle aged?" man.
Then we stop at McDonalds for a cup of coffee...
I ask for 2 small black coffees and the girl rings me up for 2 "Senior" coffees.
I didn't even know they had such a thing
Then today the same thing, The cheap side of me likes saving a few pennies, but I must admit it makes one think of coloring the gray hairs
Needless to say my family is getting a big kick out of this...

At age 54 you have already recieved the AARP package. They send it out when you're 50.
Welcome to old age(my world). Life really starts passing you by quickly from now on.

I turned 50 last month. Other than keeping an eye on my cholesterol and a bicuspid heart valve - I am fine with it. Sure, I am getting older - but am trying to not get OLD.
Ah, but life is SHORT and it seems like it's getting shorter.

It must be the company you keep.
Thanks for all your words of encouragement, It's nice to be experienced and seasoned all at the same time.
Actually getting older doesn't really bother me, it's just the fact that other people seem to be noticing

Growing up is not.
Age is a state of mind but Margaritaville is also a state of "something." Spend enough time there and "it don't matter" what others think.
Choice is yours.
Choose wisely my friend.
