Default Dragon grand reopening

The dragon was reopened today with Tenn. finest present in great numbers, with their own idea of a "ribbon cutting" to welcome the grateful visitors. ( that was for you James). Osofast that was not a bad idea with the orange "T" in the back window.. The Crossfire Crowd was well represented. Hcarter is is a force to be recond with Lowered with Konis...looks great.. Big Kidand I were sweating the whole day knowing that you can only go to one class a year to avoid points on the DL record Paceseter blessed us with his presence and he was introduced to the dragon and did a great job...Last but not least a suprise appearence by one blistering quick Black crossfire. had as many black crossfires today as we did in April

Same here,,,kind of lonely sitting in the lobby of the Fontana Lodge with no other Crossfire owners,,,having to listen to somebody trying to impress the only three people on this earth that know his first and last name that are sitting with him,,,has to repeat his life acomplishments over and over again....bet he drives a ten year old Dawoo,,and is crashing in someone else's room

John it was a hoot hanging out with you guy's ,worth every mile driven ,,as usual the cars looked awesome. I enjoyed meeting Pacemaker (Jonathan) and his grandson in Knoxville and traveling to the "D" super nice people , but these cars tend to attract good folks (tenn term) John you and Jim (bigkid) are as crazy as ever your cars sounded like the power band on a 2 cycle engine turning loose while attacking the twisties..I am ashamed to say I don't remember the members name that came up from Greenville SC but I never forget a car and his Black SRT6 Coupe was really giving us a fit leading the way...beautiful car,,,, I have not had a chance to download the film from the GoPro as of yet , but I will...... and man LEO was eveywhere I guess with everything opening up they wanted their piece of the pie ,,,,but not from us THIS TIME ,,,,,,jOHN tell Nick when he gets there on Monday he missed the Dragon Agressive Training Program for Crazy People ,,, and don't run with GO FAST BUTTON ENGAGED,,
Here are some shots I took just before parting ways...ENJOY---- I DID

I see "Dragon Grand Reopening" and I hear about going in the fall... I know that the SRTs are quick, but when I look at the photos I see the date stamp "10-07-2010".... How the hell are these taken in the future, In October??? Was Marty McFly behind the wheel?

It is just a wierd thing that occurs after the SRT's hit 88 mph.

Had a great time at the Dragon yesterday. I am glad we all made it back from the future safely. BTW the member from Greenville is Fastfunfor2, Jeff was lucky enough for his wife to lend him her car for the day.

Great pics HCarter, with you car lowered mine looks like it has the ground clearance of a Kenworth....thats fixing to change The date stamp on HCarters pics took place as he launched into the future coming out of some of those turns on the dragon...To those of you on the Forum that have never been to one of the Dragon gatherings make plans now!!!!it is a great time and a great location,,,even if you want to just take a slow drive through the country and meet new people with a common intrest. BigKid and Pacemaker look forwarded to seeing u in Oct. Fastfun42, Im glad your wife let you come out and play in the sandbox with the rest of us

I don't mind being the bait car, but someone else is welcome to do it next time -- I thought we were going to get pulled for just being there. Hellbender was wide open (throttle position) with all the officers focused on the Dragon, and we enjoyed the circle to Robbinsville across the Skyway. All the cars looked beautiful in the warm mountain sunshine. I would love for someone to publish a map of other great roads in the area. Long curvy stretches with no driveways and no intersections preferred.

I dutifully washed her car today.

Maybe someday I'll have my own srt.

This is literally my speed. As probably the oldest guy in that high speed group I'll be glad to join the more contemplative (read "SLOW") crowd this fall...we can actually SEE the scenery that way! Keeping up with John, Jeff, Jim and Howard was like a flea trying to chase a Jack Rabbit!

Pacemaker, change the word slow for "wise". After you left we had a real close call. I then started to take in the view
