Oh, this is getting deep guys. I just found a 20,000 mile Red Roadster 50 miles from the house.

Oh, and it has THREE PEDALS! Then, there is the guy in the other thread in New England with one.

So, maybe the combo will be Red Roadster and Black Coupe!

looks to me the mower would fit longways in front to the XF's....mine is covered outside just for that very reason...it gets stored in the winter, along with the Harley...Harley gets heated storage, the mower doesn't. Beside P...why are you sucking up your lawn anyway...or do you have a lot leaves? you should go "no-till" and just let the clippings rot...lol

 

Wow - what a clean garage! Looks terrific. (OK - yep - a female contribution.) The only others I know with a garage like that are my two brothers, and my late father. I have yet to figure out how this is accomplished. None were sport car owners. I am the family anomaley. In the historic area of coastal NC, we do not ( normally) have garages. My (2 month ownership ) XF is braving the elements. But sitll looking goooooddd - and I plan to keep it that way.

Well, I already found what I want. And it's not what I originally was thinking, but was too good to pass up. I was not going to say anything until I got it home and took a picture of it, the Red Roadster and me in the front yard! (Boiler is gonna LOVE this - he made fun of me when I mentioned it weeks ago, finally found one.)

Clean Carfacts, 100% southern-owned car, etc. A Roadster with a stick, 50,000 miles for $10,900 !!!!!!!!!

Here it is!

I had friends from Brunswick, GA drive down and check it out saturday - the are NOT into sports cars, but did give this little car high marks. Bryan said he felt like a kid driving it, and Val "was smiling ear to ear as we drove around the area with the top down. People kept looking at us, I was afraid we looked out of place, but Val said it was the car they were looking at".

He said it only needs rear tires and maybe a polishing job - but that it was very clean in and out and looked almost new under the hood.

He DID say he could hardly reach the pedals, as he is 5'2" - said he had the steering wheel in his chest! I forget to tel him the sterring wheel telescopes.

Actually, I didn't think I could get it, but I was the high bidder!

I won the auction thursday night. Unfortunately, I went to the bank Friday (that has my present car loan) and they turned me down! Yes, you guessed it - they saw something on my credit report that has to do with the divorce. I had no idea it was there - a lawyer says he can get it off there in about 3 months for around $1,000.

3 months - that does not help much. $1,000 - that does not help much.

This just isn't my year, friends. I've never felt so low. I was JUST picking myself up and moving on... and SLAM, right in the face. Sure, it's embarassing to talk about 6 weeks before I meet you all at the Dragon (you know, ANOTHER Pizza Drama) - but I almost NEED to talk about it.

Honestly, everyone - my life was NOT such a soap opera until recently. I still haven't told the seller, they are away for a four day weekend, no need to spoil THIER weekend as well. I have one last option for financing - and I'll meet with that person on Monday. If that doesn't work, it's gonna just be me and the Little Red Roadster. for a LONG time. I will then get a $1,000 beater of ANY form to get my by. At least I won't have any more payments. But I can AFFORD the payment - that is what GETS me.

I thought this was my prize for going thru all this $%## this year... and now it's gone, too. I don't even want to practice drums, eat, mow the lawn or NOTHING.

 

Consider it a blessing in disguise. Please don't take this personally but IMHO, your looking for material things to help deal with the emotional stress. I know, I've been there.

I think Pizzaface is just obsessed with the Crossfire. I mean if you have one why-o-why would you need/want another! Just doesn't make sense to me. And to want a BLACK Crossfire at that! That just proves he's obsessed! I mean who in their right mind would want a BLACK Crossfire????

You know it's your fault I "don't" have 2 black XF's don't you? Now I have to wash and wax 2 XF's DJ...now, as for Pizza....you need to get out more my friend, and go places in the XF you have. Meet new people, kind people, people like us, not whack jobs...I been thru a divorce, and it's just a bump in the road my friend. It's like losing money in the stock market. You just made a bad investment. It's time to move on. Hell, if I were single with a roadster, there would be a new "acquaintence" in it every weekend...lol...
Get on those radios of yours and "drum" a few up....get busy again...Hell, go see DJ....a trip out west would do you good...he then could explain to you how find a girl south of the border...and that is another story....lol
