The body panels were made by Magna in Austria I was told by a friend whose son works for Magna here in Canada.
The car may have been initially designed by Chrysler but the design finessing and fabrication was handled by Europeans. If you look at the parts they were made all over Europe, none in the US or Canada that I have found.
If this car is the result of a bad union of two companies think what might have been.
Neatest bit of info I got from the second article was that the overall population here in the states isn't too high...
They said that only 11,000 out of every 20,000 produced made it stateside.
So, if 80,000 were produced, that means only ~44,000 made it to the US.
I like that.
There are what, 200,000,000 American drivers?
No wonder we still turn heads.
