Replacing bumper and headlight
Last Sunday I went hiking with some friends and parked my Crossfire in the safest place possible. When I got back, I noticed the passenger side headlight was pushed in and the bumper was cracked. Luckily the girl left a note on the windshield apologizing about hitting my car and left her contact information.
It broke clips on the back of the headlight and the body shop (which is certified by Mercedes) recommended that I replace the bumper instead of trying to have it repaired. It is going to take $1800 to fix everything and the girl is not very pleased, but is going to pay for it. Since I have to replace the bumper anyway, I thought I might as well get an SRT front bumper (over $100 less expensive too), but the body shop wonders if it is compatible without changing any fasteners and I assured them it would. After thinking about it some more, I just wanted to make sure the SRT bumper fit on the Limited without any alterations before I have them order the bumper for it. Thanks.
