Default Cool place, think I will stay a while.

Good day to all, I am new here so I thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Daniel and I live in North Alabama. I dont actually have a Crossfire quite yet but should have one within the next 6 months. I have wanted one for years but needed cars with more than 2 seats in the past.

I have my sights set on either an Aero Blue or SSB SRT-6 Roadster. I also have done a bit of lurking and think I have my plan of attack on mods ready to go as well!

Since I don't have a Crossfire yet, this leaves me with little more to talk about on that topic for now. Instead though I would like to mention that I am in no way new to Chrysler or the SRT line!

My Current car is a 2005 Dodge Magnum AWD R/T, and the wife has a 2006 300C SRT-8.

The Mag has a "few" mods, including:
CAI
85MM TB
Ported Intake Manifold
Cam
Ported and Polished heads w/ increased compression
Larger Fuel Rails and Injectors
Headers, High Flow Cats & Full Exhaust
Diablo Sport Custom CRM Tune
Underdrive Pulley
2800 Stall Converter
Mopar Performance TCM
180 Tstat, Upgraded Radiator, Oil, Trans and Power Steering coolers.
KW V2 Coilovers
Stainless Brake Lines, EBC Pads and Cryo Treated Slotted Rotors
SRT Front Bumper, Shaved Rear window and Hatch handle
Painted and Tinted Tails
Rear Bumper Diffuser from a Charger.
And well, MUCH MUCH MORE!

Estimated about 475HP but unfortunaterly being AWD its heavier and has more drivetrain loss so the best I have done is a 13.2 in the 1/4...

The Wife's 300C SRT8 has less mods but it also has:
Custom CRM Tune
Sway Bars
CAI
Ported TB
Phenolic Spacers
Headers, High Flow Cats and Exhaust
Upgraded Oil Cooler and 180TStat
Stainless Brake Lines
Tinted Tails
Rear Window Spoiler
Etc....

Here are a few pics:

And to go back just a bit further, prior to owning the SRT8 we had an Neon SRT-4, Also fairly heavily modded....

The SRT-4 is gone now though, and we are keeping the Magnum and SRT8, I am wanting the SRT6 to be used as a daily driver and for business trips (I travel the South East OFTEN). My main reason is I have gone as far as I can on the Mag without going forced induction and/or rebuilding the bottom end and since I have to have a car for work I figure the SRT6 will be the pefect travel car while the Magnum goes back under the knife for bigger and better mods!!!

Oh I almost forgot, we like to show our cars too and the wife wanted a "Wine" theme for hers... Here is a few pics of what that looks like!

Yes, that IS a working Wine Cellar in her Trunk!!!!

Love the cars. Not so keen on the "Wine" theme on the SRT8 though. It's a really nice job, just not my cup of "wine"....

Good luck in your search for an SRT6. Great car!

HAH, no worries, many arent really into the "wine" theme. Its a Novelty really, just something fun for the car shows, we take most of it out for daily driving and racing.

Not sure how our local Law Officers wouuld handle the wine theme but I sorta like it. Kind of a B&B Genre' thing.

The SRT6 is a LEOmagnet. iwouldn't suggest that mod.

Meanwhile, welcomeand stay tuned here. A lot of good SRT's reside in this forum and these guys will be on the lookout for ya.
Or occasionally have one for sale.
