I got her the tools to make life better.
A diswasher,
A hair dryer
A vacumm
A blender
A mixer
An expensive tricked out Iron
An ironing board
A full set of pots and pans
A matching set of Milemac dishes
More money than I had ever spent on any date. The kind of spending that gets you nirvanna all night and a cooked breakfast in the morning. But I got nothing but a memory.
Not mine, hers. Women forgive but never, ever forget.
I'm told in time though, they may get over it INFERNO RED. So hang in there.
Memo to self, for the next life. DON'T EVER BUY A WOMAN TOOLS OR APPLIANCES as a gift.
Proving once again that experience is a tough teacher. She gives you the test before teaching the lesson. So, PAY ATTENTION.

My son figures I should join the 21st century while I can, so he and his wife gave me an iPod Touch.
I expected an instruction book as thick as a bible.
No instructions I'm told, everyone knows how to use it.
Two hours of frustration and it now connects wirelessly to my modem.
Now what?

Wellllllllll let's see...
A few weeks back, Gran Turismo 5 came out (only a year late). Kim had pre-purchased that game for me for LAST Christmas, so when it finally came out, I needed a few things... namely, a Playstation 3. Of course, buying that made me realize the inadequacies of the 1994 projection TV, so we lunched that in favor of a new 60" 1080p LCD. Kim and I split that, so... Merry Christmas.
My buddy (surely in a moment of insanity) wanted to "thank" Kim and I for being good friends/neighbors, so he bought a 500W sound system for the new setup, AND installed it.
Not enough beers in the world to thank him for that one.
Steve (32krazy) gave me a MUCH needed steering stabilizer, and a roll of some of the best venison summer-sausage I've ever had in my life. Steve is truly one-of-a-kind, we are blessed to have him on this forum. Not enough people in this world like him, that's for sure.
From the future in-laws, I scored a Tom-Tom GPS for the X-fire, a PS3 game, Chris Tomlin CD and a Leatherman multi-tool. Form the parents, they bought a whole host of useful kitchen appliances for Kim and I to use in the future. And I'm not referring to can-openers, either... these were top-notch things.
Bottom line, I am absolutely spoiled-rotten with some of the most amazing friends and family anyone could have. Not sure what I did to warrant such amazing people in my life, but I thank God every day for them.
God is SO good.

All kinds of great stuff including a heated and massaging seat cushion for my daily driver (Work truck). Ironically I have two cars stored my garage with heated seats that never see winter yet this truck has a "cold climate package" that includes heated winshield washer fluid, heated mirror etc BUT no heated seats.
Going out to test my new cushion soon!.

I have a pretty cool wife but she can be too practical at times. She asked for new tires for her Crossfire for her birthday present this year (which she got plus more).
We recently did a major home improvement project (I could have bought 2 Crossfires for what it cost). While it was under construction a little over a month ago, I asked her what she wanted for Christmas. Her response was "our Christmas is that new deck". I told her "my wife doesn't wake up Christmas morning without a gift to open". Her response was a happy "oh!". She was pleasantly surprised with all her Christmas gifts. I LOVE spoiling her.
I got a nice computer chair, a camara which is getting returned tomorrow (not my idea to return it), Hair cutting gadget thing, 2 movies (the other guys and kung fu panda) and a V8 (a gift to myself)
Maybe I should have got evil Evelyn more than a hand held mixer and a set of glasses for the kitchen

- Billet Grill
- HID/LEDs to replace all Crossfire lights, and HID low beams for the Odyssey.
- LED TV for bedroom.
- Leather coat
- Sweater
- Shoes
- Carl Edwards - 99 hat.
On a side note, I think Santa and I both have contributed to the success of "Toy Story 3" merchandising!!!
