Attn: Karate/Car Chase Movie Buffs
30 years ago one of my 2 best friends appeared in this (made in Akron) low budget flick.
The leading man was sort of a "Mini-me" version of Burt Renolds, and the cars were a couple of the best the 70's had to offer.
Basically the movie is so bad it should have reached "Cult Film" status years ago. But my friend Tony has one of the better fight scenes while not only kicking a bad guy into a lake, but taking out a nunchucks wielding bad asp as well.
It features what is probably one of the longest chase scenes ever recordered. So sit back and enjoy the next 20 minute tour of Beautiful Akron Ohio.

Hey Tom, that was Tonys 280Z in the parking lot where he took out Mr. Nunchucks.
That old C1 Corvette belonged to another friend of mine.
By the way, Tony still owns the Z....he bought it brand new in 1975.
Of course there still is that beautiful 70 Mach I.

Akron and the Miami river looked good back then. So did the cars.
Fun to see America's favorite sports car try to take a turn.
Thanks for posting Firemax.

I have a friend that makes really bad, cheesy horror flicks. Maybe the worst part is, if he heard me say that, he'd be offended because he thinks otherwise.

His Wife was actually the "Leading Lady" in the film. I still remember her "Farrah Fawcett" hair cut.
Unfortunately, she was the only person in the film that came across as though she actually had any acting talent. (But then she's a School Teacher, so she's had plenty of practice).
