Default let me say this

Warning: If you don't care about God then dont bother yourself with this thread as its intended for us that try daily to walk the right path.

Im honestly ashamed of my backslid Christianity. I have accepted God way back in 2002 but I constantly seem to just get caught up in lifes moments and forget what life is all about.

My family and I have been so blessed this last year with our relocation back to NH. Still God likes to prune us so we may grow stronger and fuller. I am going through some very humbling financial and job challenges but it is changing me to be a better, more effective man. Believe me when I say I give thanks now for everything including balony sandwiches. I have a much deeper understanding as to what it is like to go without yet I know it will pass because God can not be untrue to himself. I am becoming a better man even if I slip up still.

This song by kj52 reall struck me today...thought I'd share it with those faced with the same walk of life.

Just hoping to help anyone that going through a tough time. Not going door to door with pamphlets

This will be my last post on this thread, concerning the topic of how cool God can be. I do NOT want to create a debate thread....just something in my heart told me someone out there needed to hear these songs.

Please PM me if I can help anyone

Speaking of music...

Any of her songs from "Kansas" are good and helpful... but this one stands out for me:

A little more - Jennifer Knapp

Daddy, daddy, do you miss me? (Almost chilling to listen to, at times.)

I can't find it online, but "Diamond in the Rough" from her "Lay it down" CD is compelling as well.
