Fathers Day Run for Prostate Cancer
Hi,
I am running the 10,8K again for my fourth year in the Safeway Fathers Day/Walk / Run for Prostate Cancer on June 19th.
I posted my story after the run last year but thought I would post earlier this year and maybe get a few people thinking about joining or supporting it.
There are Safeway walk/runs across Canada on Fathers day and in the US they have Fathers day runs and others throughout the year including the "Dash for Dad"
This disease hits 1 in 6 men and is usually curable if found early enough.
So go for a run or walk, go for a physical or donate to your local charity that supports prostate cancer research. It is underfunded.
(I was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in early 2008 and am still here and running!)
Thanks, Ron www.PainintheAss.ca
