general distrust
I drive quite a bit for work and today as I was out running the roads I stopped at quiktrip to get some gas.
There was an elderly couple in front of me with their hood popped and I noticed they had florida tags.
I'm not the brightest bulb but I figured these people probably needed help.
I looked under the hood and their upper radiator hose had popped and they lost all their coolant so I rigged it up where they could keep it cool enough to drive to a shop.
The only problem is there are so many sleezy mechanics and shops I dont trust any of them anymore.
I took them to a midas because it was only a block away but now I cant stop wondering if they would rip them off or not with unnecessary crap.

even if they do, the fact is they needed it fixed, you did a great thing by at least getting them that far, and the rest you can't control.. Good job and sleep tight.
