Default Sheriff's Mentally-ill Son Beaten and Tasered to Death by 6 Rouge Cops

The video is horrible to watch not so much because of the graphic nature, but because you can hear him calling out for his dad. Terrible to listen to this man call for his father while he is being beaten and tasered to death.

A shocking video may be released allegedly showing cops tasering and beating the homeless man to passing away who they claim had been resisting arrest.

Though the video isn't clear, eye witnesses state the homeless man -- Kelly Thomas, 37 - was not able to put up any opposition and was lying on the floor on his front once the attack took place upon July 5.

His screams and whines for his father could be heard amid the tasering sounds.Video of Cops Beating and Tasering Mentally-ill Man to Death

I would take out one of my own officers if this kind of abuse was going on once I arrived on the scene. People's heads will roll on this one...the tazing I can understand, but the beating was unneccesary. Tazing most individuals will take the fight out of them, if drunk, or on mind drugs. But, if the drugs are potent enough, they can have super human strength. I have seen handcuffs broken by guys on drugs. So, tazing won't always work, and you are going to have to put your hands on them. But this guy was beaten, not subdued. Subduing a perp takes 3 sometimes 4 to gain control without resulting in landing blows on the guy. But, these officers sure looked liked they kicked the crap out of the guy....will have to see what the medical examiner says the cause of death was. Tazing won't kill you regardless of all the news out there that they cause death. It' s usually something else that caused the death. But a beating to the head sure will...

A lot of witnesses despite not being able to make out much with the video. Heads better do more than roll, there should be criminal charges if what I read is correct.

I remember this case but it has been lost in all the other news. Thanks forthe heads up.

From the rookie beat cop to the Attourney General of the DOJ, no one is above the law. Let us hope justice is served here.
