Default New Convertible Top

Just got my Alabaster Roadster back from the Auto Upholstery Company "Stitches" in Houston. They did a Great Job with a Quality German Canvas in a Dark Blue. Took about 12 days all together. They don't manufacture the Top Themselves, they have it made by a Company in California. They remove the Canvas top, send it away, let you have your car back until new top is returned, then take it back in about 10 days later, to fit the new top. NOT Cheap, but a really good job with a lifetime warranty on the window. Something amusing happened when I went to pick up my car, when the job was completed. Outside was another Alabaster Roadster (MAY have been the "Beeps" old one). When I went into the office there was a very pleasant African American woman aged about 35ish, getting a price to repair her window in the Convertable top. Joel the boss said to her, 750 to repair the window, to which she replied, seems O.K., then amusingly said, Seven Dollars 50 Cents, to which Joel replied NO $750 as I have to remove the top, repair then replace. Someones Jaw dropped.
So just for Forum Member information, it appears that in my investigation prior to having my top done, it seems to be an almost Standard Price in this business, of $600-$650 to remove/ refit the Top + $100 for the new Glass window complete with Demister. The Window repair has a Lifetime Guarantee. Worth Knowing Eh??? A GOOD JOB. I reckon a window repair could be done same day, apointments would however have to be made??

This sounds like a top from www.gahh.com. My research has them at the top of the list.
