Thought after reading this one, we need to have such a thread.

This one from Denver Colorado. I saw bravo to the other patron and store worker, note what the mother said (bold). Unbelievable the stupidity of some of these people.

Mother leaves kids in hot car to go in tanning salon

Denver, CO (KUSA/CNN) - A Colorado child is doing okay after police say she was left in a hot car for at least 11 minutes Friday, while her mother was in a tanning salon.

The mother, Imene Nouis, says she simply made a mistake, and expects to be punished for it.

"It's like anybody that drinks and drives and ends up hurting, injuring or killing somebody. Are they bad people? No, will they be blamed for it? Yes," said Nouis.

Another customer noticed the child in the car, then told salon workers who called police.

The baby was sleeping and she didn't want to wake her up," Nouis added.
Police cited her for child abuse, and released her with the baby.

Officers checked the temperature inside the car and found it to be 135 degrees.

We get these idiots all the time here in FL. How stupid can someone be?!? I still think there should be a basic intelligence test given before you are allowed to have kids. Thank goodness for the people who called the police or there would be a dead or brain damaged kid. People make me so MAD sometimes.

 

I just cannot imagine INTENTIONALLY doing that. Of course, I was so paranoid about my boys when they were little, I cannot imagine FORGETTING my child in the car, either.

I know that accident happen - but my little boys (again, when they WERE little) were more than objects to me, more than a nuisance - they were what my life at the time was all about.

I'm not even sure if "idiot" fits.

I HONESTLY dont think a week has gone by in the last three months that we have not heard of something like this happening here in Atlanta this summer. (Not saying the child died every time, but usually did.)
