Need help w/Dragon Video
Guys, I have a 1080p video I took of everyone going to the dam on Saturday morning. It is 351 meg. There is a section in the middle that needs to be edited out because of delay when a truck got in between the Crossfires and slowed them down causing a large gap in the parade.
My current PC will not run a 1080p video very well and I have no editing software to correct it. Can 1080 be reduced to 360 or 480 or even 720?
What are my options here so everyone has a chance to see it or even copy it for themselves? I would prefer it be corrected before available for everyone to copy. Video is new to me so talk laymen.
Can I upload it somewhere so someone can edit it? Can a 351 meg file be attached in email? I am open for suggestions here.
Thanks, James
PS it is .mov file

What I can see is the some of the begining needs to be lost. Then :52 to 1:33 needs to be removed, then ending at 3:00. Remember this is my first time. When I bought the camera I never realized video was evne on there.

Thanks Nick. Basically it will let you edit or trim off the begining and end. Couldn't figure out if I could edit a section out of the middle.

Thanks to Annette and to Evan for all your help in getting this together. I noticed Gary closed the original Dragon thread, maybe he can copy this post and place it over there as well.

If you still need help editing the original HD video, drop me an email (towncrier@gmail.com) and I can tell you how to upload the original video to my website where I can edit it for you. If the youtube version is adequate, that's great. I apologize for not seeing this sooner.
