4,000 posts!
And no end in sight...
Approaching the five year mark on the forums, I can truly say this has been the best forum I've ever been a part of. The people on here make this place priceless.
We've come a long way in five years... I remember when the fastest SRT on here was a 12.79...
Now we have V-8s, SRT's sitting comfy in the 11's, and the N/A cars now have hope of one day tickling the 12's with the advent of a turbo kit, still in the making.
It's been a fun ride, a ride that shall continue to be a blast.
Next stop, 10,000 posts!

Congrats on the milestone John. I have been here a little over four years now and amazed how far we have come understanding these cars and improving them. One of the most intresting things that doesn't get mentioned very much is that the book value of our cars has gone up in the last year or so.

Is that an arbitrary number you came up with or do you actually have somewhere that logs it?
Now that would be an interesting stat to see for a lot of memebers.

OK, I stand corrected. After doing the math, I probably have the forum up on the computer 3-4 hours per day. Over a 5 1/2 year span that that equates to 6-8000 hours since joining the forum. Less a few vacation days and other issues, I am sure it is 6000 plus. That doesn't mean I am reading posts 3-4 hours per day...... ok yes I am close to being a sick puppy..... but, I love my SRT's.

So in response to Randy, I was trying to make this scientific. If you assume each post you write takes 5 minutes (a little high sure, but not too much), and each thread takes an average of 15 minutes to read, and you average only 3 posts per thread, then I have spent a **** ton of time on the forum...
For Science
I have spent 570 hours actively engaging in discussion on the forum given the assumptions above.
If you assume another 2 hours a day of lurking, then I have spent approximately 3212 total hours on the forum. That equal 133.83 days, 4.5 months, or 37% of a year on the forum over the past almost four years...I need to get out more.
