I 'wave' the spoiler at the ladies behind me (shhhh don't tell the Mrs) at traffic lights, they get a kick out of it!

Hey Ghost - if you want to take it a step further, get one of those 1" vinyl tape writer things and punch out your private cell # ( so the missus don't know ) and put it on the flat panel that don't show when the spoiler is down, but does show when it's up .....

The word here is ENVY! The ones who hate it are "just wishin" it was theirs and the ones who love it wonder how they missed it when Crossfire's were for sale! Now, most just are amazed with the car. I just love the looks and the "have to know" comments. I love my Crossfire!

Top is down, Machine is movin, tunes are loud, and I am having fun!

People in Cruces do not know what to think of her... for one, I'm the only owner of an Xfire (my last count has 6 of em in town, 5 LTDs, 1 Base... which seems to be a lot for a city of less than 100K) that drives it in a fashon unlike a grandmother... but when I get some DB tailgater at the light, the tail comes up (think "shake yor tailfeather from Bad Boys 2) and if that doesn't work then she starts to squat her butt... and if all else fails, they get left... rather abruptly at the light and I find a way to avoid having em riding my ***.

I'm surprised how frequently I receive compliments or the "what is it" questions. I've even had a couple of people ask me if just came out.
How many other 7 year old cars get confused for a brand new model?

And as for Clarkson, you'll recall after he grudgingly admitted to liking the XF Roadster, he immediately stated it still wasn't any good because it was based on the Coupe,
and not initially designed to be a topless automobile.
The man makes me laugh, but he is clearly an imbecile.

The 1st I test/tuned at the Muncie Dragway, no one even talked to this old guy all evening. Went to the track, turned a 12.2 on a not so good a night....and I had 5 people waiting on me in the pits. LOL... I didn't know if it was the car, and the old geezer they wanted to look at... OK, it was the car... We aren't giving out any numbers on the blue one yet until we are completely finished. The roadster is still at 12.2 for now, but soon to be retuned, with new mani's.... So, as for the impressions. No one around here knows anything about the SRT version. So, it makes it nice when they are thinking N/A....and even then, they don't know much about the N/A version.. I love'em just because they are different, and fast for what they are....

I've yet to have any negative comments yet. Mainly all I get are that people love it or what a nice car it is, I've found my main fans are 60yr+ rich couples

Driving on base here (Shaw AFB) we have to show military ID. I stopped and opened my door (I always open my door, I rarely power down the window I don't like the glass getting scratched by any debris at the grommet/channel) to show the sentry my ID and he says "Something wrong with the window on this nice car"? I told him about not liking to use the power windows and he said the car looks real nice. He kept looking at the car the whole time he was talking, I could tell he was trying to figure out what it was. Made my day, the rest of the time I was there (I volunteer on base twice a week). As I drove away, he was still watching me (or the car)...

Mmm must agree...
Mr Clarkson is so far up him self that most of the English cannot tell where his **** hole starts or his teeth stop.....
Here we love the unusual, the flamboyant, and the raw power of American cars is ....... just damned good.

Incidently, my Crossfire now has a name.... "Chilly" cos she's sooooo damned cool :-)

Regards to all.

UOTE=boobles35;654043]Some excellent replies guys & thank you.... Typically over hear if Clarkson slates any car then we tend to buy them because he is not loved at all by most petrol heads over hear, another words he speaks bull**** & we do the opposite to what he says.[/QUOTE]

I have received nothing but love. I am based in London UK and all I get is people commenting on the look (positively) and a few women even asking to be taken for a spin!
