Great Forum...May I pick some brains out there.
I have just brought the car of my dreams..The Chrysler Crossfire ..I have been seaching for a while now trying to find the right one..Living in the UK RUST !! was the main concern..but I found one ..Thank Goddness..One owner ..26000 miles ..2004 model and she is immaculate...jst a couple of thing I am not sure about..the first is ..looking at the owners manual..I seem to be missing the passingers key slot to turn the airbag off..I have checked both sides..also the light is missing from the centre it looks like there wasmt one put in this car..just a blank plate ..also there is no seat belt warning light or chime...could this be the year or prehapes because this one was made for UK spec...if anyone could throw some light on this for me....thanks Guys and Girls...The Chrysler Crossfire was the best car Chrysler ever made...Hey I am a brit..so I guess a little biased..Laugh

Welcome aboard & enjoy the new car. I am also new to the Crossfire ownership & also live in the UK.. My 2004 also has no seat belt warning light or chime.... It's either the UK spec or age I am guessing.
Thanks *****..I guess it must be the UK spec...I hope you are enjoying the car...dont see many about..and the prices are rock bottom at the moment I payed £5000 for mine..thats about $7900 for our friends in the USA..thats a lot of car for little money...its going to be a classic in the future..as long as we don't get robbed on the parts..laugh...but if there is something thats needed ...I think a holiday to the USA is the answer...just got back...Great country and wonderful people ...

The chime for the seat belts can be turned of on US cars, not sure about UK models. Maybe disconnecting the battery for a few minutes may reset the chime to its default chime sound.
As for the light, do you mean the cabin light?
Thanks Itsky and Onehundred....This a great forum..Sorry Itsky..the light I ment was the passenger airbag light on the middle dash..its looks like we dont have that on the 2004 UK standard models..I did ask a local Chrysler dealer when I first got the car...but he didnt have a clue...But ***** also lives in the UK and he hasnt got one on his 2004 model either..so it may be the year or spec...I love the car...The Chrysler Crossfire is a head turner ..and a beatiful peice of workmanship.....Thanks all

Lots of info to be found here, it's just hard to find sometimes when you need it.
